How It All Began, pp 1-7

The letters date from February 1941 but it is clear from the content of the first letter that the correspondence had started before this. Read how Hugh and Jim met. Find out how Jim came to be on a ship in mid-Atlantic in 1940. Why was Hugh so keen to keep writing?
